Real Estate by Deborah Levy is a novel about the freedoms, the entrapment, and the myths of property ownership. Levy spends much of the novel fantasising about her ‘unreal’ estate and the property portfolio that only exists in her imagination.
My concept was to create a scene that reflected the fragility of Levy’s ‘unreal estate’.
