Ultra is a monthly magazine associated with Stab; a publication directed at extreme sport enthusiasts.
The article ‘The Long Run’ gave equal weight to the suffering inherent in ultra marathon running as it did to the moments of mindful release and union with nature.
I chose to prioritise this aspect of the writing by bringing natural tangible texures into the image treatments and focusing on expansive imagery.
